Let me introduce you to Rosebud and Niro.

Rosebud is a female English Cocker. Niro is a male Tibetan Spaniel. People often confuse their sex, thinking Rosebud is a male (since she's so sloppy) and Niro a female (since he's so cute). But their actual behavior gives them away: Niro is fearless, dominant and marks everything in sight, whereas Rosebud is shy and retiring.

Rosebud and Niro were born in Bangkok, Thailand. They were adopted as little puppies and have spent their life together, traveling from one country to another.

Niro is smart. Rosebud is dumb. Both are exceptionally sweet and lovable.

Niro has the personality of a cat. He is unusually quiet (barking only on command) and clean. Like a cat, he also enjoys high places and is a rather picky eater. Rosebud is, on the other hand, 100% pure dog. She is noisy, picks up dirt like a mop and eats anything she can get into her jaws.

Niro loves to be held. Rosebud just sort of tolerates it.

Rosebud loves the outdoors - where she can inhale all sorts of wondrous smells through her excellent cocker snout. Niro loves being inside - especially when he can watch everyone from a high perch.

Niro is fearless. Although small in stature he considers himself the biggest dog on the planet and thus has no problem staring down a dog many times his size. Rosebud is not fearless. She is afraid of most dogs, particularly the bigger ones. But that's okay, as Niro takes care of her.

Both dogs are fond of their bed. However, Rosebud is the best sleeper in the world. She loves her bed and spends most of her hours in it, snoring and oblivious to the world. Niro is a light sleeper and always watchful. He takes seriously his job of protecting the home from any possible dangers.

Rosebud and Niro are the best of friends.

We love our dogs very much!
